How we make money

Myeongdong Onda Lifting may earn referral fees, commissions, or service fees from clinics that appear on our recommendation pages when readers ultimately choose to consult with one of those clinics. This is a common arrangement in the medical-tourism industry and allows us to keep this site free for readers and continuously updated.

Where partnerships exist

• Recommendation pages (URLs ending in /recommendations/ or /clinics/): each listed clinic may have a referral relationship with us.
• Consultation form on every page: our multilingual coordinators may refer your inquiry to one of our partner clinics that matches your treatment interest, location preference, and language need.
• Direct booking links: any external link labeled "Book directly" or "Visit clinic" may be a referral link.

Where partnerships do NOT exist

• Procedure pages (modality guides, comparison tables, FAQ pools): edited independently using the source hierarchy in our editorial policy.
• Price ranges: always cite ISAPS / KHIDI / OECD market averages, never partner-clinic pricing.
• Modality comparisons: category-type only (e.g. HIFU vs RF), never named-competitor comparisons.
• DOI citations: peer-reviewed journals only, no industry-sponsored content.

Editorial independence

Our partner relationships do not influence: (1) which procedures we cover, (2) the comparison axes we use, (3) the downtime ranges or contraindications we list, (4) the DOIs we cite, or (5) the regulatory status (FDA / CE / MFDS) of devices. If a partner clinic asks us to make changes that conflict with our editorial standards, we decline.

Your rights as a reader

• You are not obligated to consult with any partner clinic. The information here is meant to inform your independent decision.
• You can request a referral to a non-partner clinic if you prefer.
• You can opt out of clinic referrals entirely and use our content for self-research only.
• Our coordinators will tell you when a recommended clinic is a partner and when it is not.

Regulatory framework

This disclosure complies with US FTC 16 CFR Part 255 (endorsement guidelines), EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive, and Korean Act on Promotion of Medical Services for Foreign Patients (의료 해외진출법). We avoid named-competitor comparisons under Korean Medical Service Act Article 56(4).
